I love this little notebook so much! Every time I flip through the pages I see something new that I didn't notice before. It's very useful for traveling to Montreal. It has city maps, a pull out metro map, useful street index, personal data sheet you can list your info if it gets lost, transportation numbers, a before going sheet, travel planning/memo sheet, measures and conversions sheet, international sizes reference, blank pages you can write your travel experiences, six distinct tabs where you can list places you like to visit, an extra six tabs where you can use the tab stickers provided (with different topics such as Museums, Theater, Getting Around, Markets, Words, Galleries, Musts, etc. AND blank 20 tab stickers for your own topics), 32 removable sheets for loose notes, and 12 translucent sheets to trace your route on the map in the notebook, and three different colored string bookmarks. There's even a pocket at the back to hold metro tickets or itinerary. The notebook is a small size for travel and it's a hard and durable cover. I'm speechless at how amazing this book is to travel with. What a great concept that actually works. It's going to keep everything organized and I'm going to record every day of my trip in here!I bought this book for my best friend Betsy before she heads out to Vienna to visit her girlfriend who is being stationed there by the State Department. She and her friend plan to visit Prague while they're there so I got her the Vienna and the Prague one. My friend had given me one for Berlin and, before, during, and then after the trip, it's an awesome keepsake and way to remember where you visited during the trip. And since there's a lot of room for writing and keeping notes, it's very much like a travel journal. Like all things Moleskine, it's high quality and durable and handsome. It is a little Eurocentric (Praha is Prague in Czech) but that makes it more exotic. She loves it! So much!I recently went on a trip with my boyfriend and purchased one of these notebooks for each of us. We each had our own map and notebook to jot down places we wanted to visit and journal at the end of our days. They are also pocket-sized, which is great because carrying around a huge guidebook is daunting. These are mostly blank pages for you to fill in, so you will probably need a guidebook to decide where you want to go. But these little city books are fantastic and have incredibly helpful subway maps as well! I highly recommend them to anyone visiting a new city!Pitty that the internet made them obsolete in a way. But, I still find them great. they are not updated however for some years now.My only complaint about City Notebooks is that they don't have them for enough cities!I've wanted to buy one for a while, but I haven't found myself in London or Paris and plan on it anytime soon. So when we booked our trip to Montreal I was very very excited.Gave this to my friend as a gift for the trip. We used the maps frequently and he took many notes of the sights and restaurants that we visited along the way!this is the 3rd moleskine that i've acquired (London + Paris), they have all made it easire to get the best out of a city, help friends and never lose a great place, book or CD - must haves!!Despite all my electronic assistants (iPhone, iPad, Kindle Fire, etc), sometimes its just quicker to take notes the old fashioned way. For tracking location specific activities, the Moleskine City Notebooks are great. They're small--easily concealed in a jacket pocket--and chock-full of useful information. The Los Angeles edition didn't let me down.Took her to travelCIt is a smallCbut so Beautiful and delicate.I like my journey and it as well.I'm going to look at the other cities of the series laptopsYou might as well buy a blank moleskin, this will allow you to use it for more that one trip; with a couple of cheaply produced maps, and some index labels, this is a blank notebook for you to fill in. Unless you take hundreds of notes, then I can not really see the point in this product. I was very disappointed it did not have at least some more basic information in. Next time it will be a guide book and a blank notebook. The perfect little book to take on travels, small to take everywhere! Write experiences and thoughts along the way. Comes with useful info i needed to know (maps, conversions etc).
